My web designer told me not to do this page!

I was warned not to include this page and to just let my official biography stand alone. But you know what I said? Fooey! I wanted one page where you could get a glimpse of the other side of me. So, against professional web design advice--here it is...

I believe I am one of the most blessed people on Planet Earth!

Why, you ask?

I get to do what I love to do every day! I love training, speaking, and coaching. For me, it's all about the light bulb that goes off when someone gets it. I've been at this for a while now, and some people tell me my demeanor and way of dealing with people reminds them of Oprah. I sure hope you like Oprah, because I considered that a great compliment!

When you bring me to your company for a seminar, keynote, or coaching session, you'll find that I am a down-to-earth person. I absolutely abhor people who get wrapped up in their titles and degrees! I look at it this way -- my Master of Science in Organizational Leadership nor my Doctorate of Philosophy in Biblical Studies will mean anything to you if I don't deliver; that's why my clients tend to bring me back year after year.

Check out this fun video from one of my seminars to get a sense of me and a good idea of my style. WARNING: This is not a professional video! Yours truly was behind the camera. I'm a great speaker, and a so-so videographer! (This really flipped my web designer out!) Sorry, Lee! Anyway, I love to laugh, and I make sure that we're all laughing and learning whenever I speak and train.

Just so you know, some of my satisfied clients include Federal Express, National Seminars, City University of New York, Yale University, Fred Pryor Seminars, Career Track Seminars, Dell Corporation, and IBM – just to name a few.

So what's my life like outside of speaking, training, and coaching?

I love to play Scrabble and I've been playing since I was seven! I love the game so much, I taught all three of my sons to play ... oh yeah! We're pretty competitive on a Scrabble board! If you ever make it to my home-office you will see that I am an avid reader. Lifelong learning is the key to living a fulfilled life ... at least that's what I believe. So I read self-help books, Griot fiction, and pretty much any kind of book I can download from Audibles.com. Be sure to check out my blog.

I have a great family!

God has blessed me with three awesome sons: Antoine, Adrian, and Aaron. Don't ask about the "A's"! They have given me five adorable grandchildren: Julius, Andrew, Malachi, Hunter, and our newest addition--FINALLY a girl--Jael! I'll resist the urge to pull out the family photos, because they really are adorable!

See that picture up there? Well, that's me and Mom on our vacation to the Bahamas! Mom's sick now, and I'm so glad we were able to vacation while she was well! Never take your family for granted!

I'm also an ordained minister and associate at Victory Cathedral in Hartford, CT--thus, the PhD--where I've been blessed to use  my coordination and media announcer skills.

Oh, one last thing ... I went back to college late in life to get my education. I am a proud on-line graduate, and I wrote a book about my experience: "Going The Distance! Success Strategies for Online Students." If you'd like a copy, send me an email and I'll make sure you get one--no charge!

Enjoy the website, and come back often. Remember, with focus YOU can close your gaps!

P.S. Just send me an e-mail to get a complimentary training assessment.
